Wild West Pizza Launches "Be Nice for a Slice" - Anti-Bullying Program

Lompoc, CA, October 20, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Award winning Wild West Pizza has introduced a new program to help combat bullying in local schools. October is National Anti-bullying month so this is the perfect time to launch this innovative idea.

Previously, Wild West in conjunction with the Lompoc Police department launched the positive ticketing campaign. Wild West supplies the local police department with "tickets" to reward kids with when they are spotted doing something good. Recipients receive a free personal pizza. Be Nice for a Slice is an extension of that program. The news report daily about children across the country that are bullied in school. Being the victim of a bully can scar a child for life. Be Nice for a Slice is a simple program to help teach anti-bullying lessons in school. Teachers are provided with certificates to present to their students when they demonstrate good behavior - for simply being nice! Each certificate recognizes the child for their behavior and rewards them with a free pizza.

David Goldy, founder of Wild West pizza said, “We believe that sometimes small gestures can have huge rewards. Be Nice for a Slice is a small gesture from us that we think can make a huge difference in our schools.”

Teachers can register their classroom at www.beniceforaslice.com.
