Event Synopsis:
The increasing challenges of compliance and recordkeeping for toxic substances has fueled the tougher reporting requirements in the United States. Manufacturers, importers and handlers are required to provide the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with a comprehensive inventory of chemicals manufactured domestically or imported to the United States. The information provided to the EPA will help assess the potential human health and environmental effects of the chemicals. Failure to comply with the requirements, late reporting or reporting a slightly inaccurate manufacture or import volume will result to monetary penalties up to $25,000 per chemical per site.

In order to avoid potential risks and unwanted costs, companies should carefully review and assess their production/import records and keep track of the deadlines posted by EPA.

In this live webcast, a panel of thought leaders and professionals assembled by The Knowledge Group will provide the audience with an in-depth analysis of the features and practical tips in complying with the requirements of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).

Key topics include:

The Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) – An Introduction
The Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) Rule Requirements
Import and Export Requirements under TSCA
Corporate TSCA Compliance
Liability, Violations and Penalties
