SGS Webinar: Chain of Custody Update for Certificate Holders and Outlook for 2017

Geneva, Switzerland, October 24, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Background: Implementation of the new Controlled Wood standard is a challenge and the time is running out. In this webinar, it will detail the latest advice and interpretation received from ASI and FSC to enable certificate holders to start the transfer process.

Furthermore, the FSC™ Chain of Custody standard is also being reviewed. The draft version proposes new rules for transaction verification and that certificate holders will be obliged to use the Online Claim Platform (OCP) under certain circumstances.

Finally, PEFC™ is also revising all of its standards, including the PEFC Chain of Custody certification standard.

The aim of this webinar is to update the customers on the transition and implementation rules of the new FSC Controlled Wood Standard (FSC-STD-40-005 V3-0) and to update on recent FSC COC and PEFC COC standard revision processes. It is aimed at current FSC and PEFC COC certified clients, as well as any other interested parties.
