Fond du Lac, WI, October 24, 2016 --(PR.com)-- On Wednesday, October 26th Huberty CPAs will celebrate its 35 year anniversary. The Firm was founded by Wayne Huberty in 1981 with a single Fond du Lac office providing accounting services to businesses and individuals. Since then, Huberty has grown to six locations including Fond du Lac, Ripon, Sheboygan, Plymouth, Markesan, and Minocqua with a seventh Oshkosh office coming soon. Along with adding locations, the Firm’s associate team has expanded from 6 employees in 1981 to nearly 50 in 2016.

Managing Shareholder, Ann Freund recalls, “Wayne instilled an attitude that the client always comes first and a constant attention to quality and accuracy. Such traditions are the reason the Firm continues to carry his name.”

“Over Huberty CPAs 35-year history, we’ve expanded our expertise, offering many of the services provided by large national firms,” shares Freund. Shareholder, Gary Born adds, “Our robust service line includes accounting, payroll, bookkeeping, audit, advanced tax planning, consulting, business valuation, wealth management, and more.”

One achievement worth observing and celebrating during Huberty’s 35th anniversary is the substantial, long-term relationships the firm has built with its clients. Not only the number, but “The variety of businesses that we service, is one of our biggest accomplishments,” Born adds.

Building those long-term relationships requires a pool of motivated, highly skilled associates. Perhaps the most fundamental part of Huberty’s corporate culture has been to provide an environment where associates are encouraged to take a long-range career view, in a context where professional and personal growth is balanced.
Many of Huberty employees are involved in their communities. Each associate is encouraged to be an active community participant. This includes brand-new staff, Shareholders, and recruits. Born says, “We have had associates involved as Sunday School teachers, church council, Legion members, board members and officers in not for profit companies, Rotary, and Kiwanis. We also support many of the activities in the communities through donations.”

“Huberty’s 35th anniversary is an opportunity for us to reflect and give thanks to our clients, employees, and our community,” states Freund.
