Doobert.com Volunteer Transports Two Rescues Cross-Country

A Doobert.com volunteer drove two rescue dogs on a four-day, cross-country trip to their new rescue, Doggone Happy Animal Rescue.

Camden, DE, October 23, 2016 --(PR.com)-- This month, a Doobert.com volunteer drove two rescue dogs cross-country from Orange, California to Camden, DE.

The two dogs, Sabre and Zephyr, started nervously as rescue dogs in Orange County Animal Control. They arrived separately and were each terrified.

Luckily, Doggone Happy Animal Rescue in Camden, DE saw the pups and wanted to take them in. Rescue Transport USA organized the 2,729-mile transport right away.

Sabre and Zephyr waited for their trip to be planned at El Toro Animal Hospital in Lake Forest, CA. Their complicated trip was planned after two months.

One single Doobert.com volunteer stepped up to take the two dogs the entire cross-country trip. She brought the dogs to their final destination of Doggone Happy Animal Rescue after four days. The dogs lived a life of luxury along the way and stayed in pet-friendly hotels with comfortable beds, tasty treats, and lots of love.

The cost of boarding the dogs was quite expensive. Anyone willing to help the rescue with boarding expenses is encouraged to use the PayPal address, dhardogs@gmail.com.
