Even with a Loss the Minnesota Vikings Stay Atop the Ultimate Sports Network’s NFL Rankings

The Minnesota Vikings are no longer undefeated after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles, however they are still Number One in the Ultimate Sports Network’s NFL Rankings. The Vikings once substantial lead has decreased by 50% and the Dallas Cowboys are poised to make a move up to Number One with another Minnesota miscue.

#6/Atlanta Falcons (Last Week #3)
#7/Green Bay Packers (Last Week #5)
#8/Pittsburgh Steelers (Last Week #8)
#9/San Diego Chargers (Last Week #12)
#10/New York Giants (Last Week #10)

The Minnesota Vikings are no longer undefeated after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles, however they are still Number One in the Ultimate Sports Network’s NFL Rankings. The Vikings once substantial lead has decreased by 50% and the Dallas Cowboys are poised to make a move up to Number One with another Minnesota miscue.

New to the Top Ten are the San Diego Chargers, last week’s Number Twelve team. The most surprising aspect of these rankings is the listing of the Cleveland Browns at Number Fifteen. The Browns have yet to have won a game, but their strength of schedule and their margin of defeats places them much higher in the rankings than is to be expected.

The Ultimate Sports Network attempts to answer the question, “Who is Number One?” by multiplying a teams’ winning percentage by their "control points," then by their schedule strength.
