Dallas, by defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 29-23 in overtime, hold a slim lead on the New England Patriots. Both only have one loss, but the Cowboys strength of schedule is just a bit more stringent than the Patriots.

Again, the statistical anomaly is the winless Cleveland Browns. Having dropped another game, this one a 31-28 loss to the New York Jets, the Browns hover near the middle of the pack at #17, just one place ahead of the defending NFC Champion Carolina Panthers.
