Voith Industrial Services Renews Contract with Karl Mayer in China
Since 2013 Voith Industrial Services China has been providing technical facility management (TFM) services at Karl Mayer (China) Ltd. in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. In 2016 the contract was renewed.
Changzhou, China, November 26, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The services include, for example, the LV/HV Power Distribution System, Heating System, HVAC System, Chilled Water System, Air Compressor System, Cooling Water System, Energy Monitoring and Optimization, Building and Property Management as well as Forklift Maintenance.
The value-added services have increased the quality. For example, Voith Industrial Services has implemented the “free cooling” project. Additionally, the industrial services provider has added forklift maintenance to the scope of services and now provides services in this field, too.
Voith Industrial Services has modified facilities to improve the uptime ratio and decrease emergency maintenance activities. For example, they have upgraded the fan coil controller and the compressor as well as the air handling unit programming. With their energy optimization, they have upgraded the customer’s energy structure. Another milestone has been to ensure high quality levels by setting up a KPI system.
Voith Industrial Services in China has provided technical innovation and operational support to the customer and has made a few suggestions regarding heating and cooling to increase their efficiency.
Both companies benefit from continuing this cooperation: By outsourcing their TFM, Karl Mayer is able to focus on their core business, simplify management structures, increase the service quality and improve the environmental performance on site.
