Former Director of the Armament Policy Department, Polish MoD Announced as Mobile Deployable Communications Chairman

Brigadier General (Retd) Włodzimierz Nowak began military service in 1986. Served, among others, in the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces as Head of the ICT systems Management Branch, Head of Fixed Communication Systems Branch, Chief Communication and Information Systems Division as well as Deputy Head of Command and Communication, General Directorate, J6.

Since 2007 he worked as the Director of the Information, Technology and Telecommunication Department at the Ministry of National Defence, Director Operations of NCSA NATO agency, Deputy Commander/Chief of Staff of the NATO CIS Group and Director of the Armament Policy Department at the Ministry of National Defence. Currently, Cybersecurity Plenipotentiary to the Minister for Digital Affairs and Director of the Cybersecurity Department.

For outstanding achievements in military service and strengthening the defence of the Republic of Poland, he was awarded entry to the Book of Honor of the Minister of National Defence. Also awarded, among others, Gold Medal for Long Service and the Silver Cross of Merit. Author of many publications in journals and sectoral magazines.
