Galen Dean Tapped for National Nursing Leadership Program

Louisville, KY, November 30, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Galen College of Nursing’s Dean, Tara Dailey, has been accepted into the 2017 National League of Nursing LEAD program. The program is a part of the NLN’s Leadership Institute in the Center for Transformational Leadership. The LEAD program is an invitation only program for leaders in nursing education.

Dailey joins other industry experts, who are hand-selected, to become part of a network of successful peers to examine leadership concepts and organizational systems.

“It’s an honor to represent Galen in the LEAD program,” says Dailey. “This group of professionals face unique challenges and opportunities and the LEAD program is a way to engage all of us through a common theme – leadership. I look forward to the opportunity to share and learn from this esteemed group of professionals.”

Galen College of Nursing is one of the largest nurse educators in the San Antonio community and the country. With demand for nurses on the rise, Galen is currently in the process of a major expansion of the San Antonio Campus to further assist in preparing nurses for the workforce in that community.

“We are always developing ways to meet the needs of students and the communities we serve,” adds Dailey. “National programs like LEAD bring industry leaders together in a spirit of collaboration – we are always learning and innovating – and will continue to do so.”
