EcoMark Solar Completes "Kilowatt Can Drive" for Rocky Mountain Human Service

EcoMark donated one food item for every kilowatt of solar the company sold during a two-week period and its employees also donated food and funds.

Denver, CO, December 03, 2016 --(PR.com)-- EcoMark Solar recently wrapped up its annual "Kilowatt Can Drive" by donating over 500 food items to Rocky Mountain Human Service's (RMHS) Thanksgiving Food Drive. RMHS is a local non-profit that helps empower people with developmental disabilities.

EcoMark donated one food item for every kilowatt of solar that the company sold and installed during the two-week drive (320) and its employees also donated food items and funds independently. RMHS will distribute the food to families and individuals in time for Thanksgiving.

“This year marked our third annual kilowatt can drive,” says Leila Clark, EcoMark chief operations officer. “The holidays are an important time to make sure people served by RMHS have enough food items, and our employees enjoy participating in this annual campaign.”
