goKOZY Challenges Existing Business Models

Online retail company, goKOZY, questions the standards for American business models of today. goKOZY includes "Impact Giving" as a cornerstone standard for its new business model and challenges other businesses to do the same.

Portland, OR, December 18, 2016 --(PR.com)-- A new American business model is being implemented by goKOZY, creator of the Original KOZY Body Blanket. Makers of this evolutionary wearable blanket are convinced that genuine success in business is not defined solely by bottom-line financial figures. "We at goKOZY regard responsibility to community, both local and global, as integral to overall success. The Impact Giving Cornerstone of goKOZY's business model emphasizes and ensures substantial, in-kind generosity through the 'Warming Our Homeless' campaign. This campaign is only one of the vehicles through which accountability to community needs is satisfied," states Laura Curtis, creator of the KOZY and founder of goKOZY.

goKOZY blanketwear envelops the body from shoulders to feet, surrounding the wearer in a fleece "cocoon" that ensures 360-degree warmth and movement. "What better way to fulfill this Impact Giving commitment than to give the fleece Body Blankets to those most in need of warmth, those without shelter. We hand-sew the perfect blanket product for helping these folks stay warm," continues Curtis.

The annual campaign is underwritten entirely by the goKOZY team. The company provides fabric and team seamstresses volunteer time to produce the fleece blanketwear. "Visitors to the official www.goKOZY.com retail site are automatic participants. It is important to involve customers in the giving process," adds Curtis. Thanks to online participation to date, 54 adult and child sized KOZY Body Blankets are due for distribution beginning this week. The campaign ends January 1, 2017.
