BSCAI Announces 2017 Board of Directors

Chicago, IL, January 11, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) announces the installation of its newly elected officers and directors.

BSCAI is proud to announce that the 2017 President is Tom Kruse, CBSE, Senior Vice President of M&A of Marsden Building, LLC. Kruse joined Marsden Holding in 2008 as the President and Chief Operating Officer of their Western Division. Marsden Holding is one of the largest privately owned security and facility service providers in the U.S. with an outstanding local reputation in the markets they serve. Kruse is responsible for developing and executing the acquisition portion of Marsden's national growth strategy.

BSCAI’s 2017 President-Elect is Jim Harris, Jr., CBSE, CEO of Janitronics, Inc. Harris has been around the industry his entire life and started full time with Janitronics Facility Services in 1984. As CEO, Harris is responsible for leading an executive team in all aspects of the business. His prime responsibilities include corporate planning, major account retention and vendor relationships.

Serving as BSCAI’s 2017 Vice President is Michael Diamond, CBSE, Managing Partner of Affineco. Diamond grew up in the janitorial business working with his father Alan Diamond. From summers in the field on specialty crews to starting his management career after graduating from Ithaca College in 1985, Michael learned all facets of the business. In 2000, Diamond took over full management of the family business, and started United Services with a partner. In 2012, all companies merged together into Affineco, LLC. Affineco’s footprint covers New Jersey to Boston with Headquarters in Connecticut.

Serving as 2017 Treasurer is Todd Hopkins, CBSE, CEO and Founder of Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services. Hopkins earned his Bachelors of Business Administration in management from the University of Memphis and his MBA from Butler University. He is also a graduate of MIT’s Birthing of Giants Executive Entrepreneurship Academy, a prestigious program for top entrepreneurs. Hopkins is the author (and co-author) of three best-selling books, The Carrot Chaser, The Janitor and Five Wisdoms for Entrepreneur Survival.

Serving as BSCAI’s Immediate Past President in 2017 is Janelle Bruland, CBSE. Bruland is President and CEO of Management Services Northwest, LLC. Bruland started in the industry in 1995 working out of her home with a handful of employees. Management Services Northwest has since grown into a regional facility management company offering services from janitorial to complete facility management. Bruland’s responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the business, with a focus on strategic planning and business development.
