Seasoned Clinical Operations Leader Joins Wellbridge Health

Pittsburgh, PA, February 22, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Wellbridge Health has added Vice President of Clinical Operations, Pamela Greenhouse, to its growing staff. At Wellbridge, Ms. Greenhouse will guide the evolution of clinical operations, ensuring continued innovation, marrying technology with a personal touch to improve wellness, healthcare outcomes, the experience of care, and costs.

Wellbridge has a multidisciplinary clinical team of social workers, health coaches, and nurses who work closely with each other and in partnership with health plan members and/or patients in the community, who suffer from chronic conditions such as Heart Failure, COPD, Type II Diabetes, etc. Many also have challenging socioeconomic situations.

When asked what drew her to join the Wellbridge Health team, Ms. Greenhouse replied “As far back as 2000, Clayton Christensen noted in The Harvard Business Review, ‘The U.S. healthcare industry is in a crisis...it is convoluted, expensive, and often deeply dissatisfying.’ It is terribly distressing to me that not much has changed in the intervening years in terms of access, outcomes, costs and experience despite so many good minds and good intentions.” She added, “Wellbridge struck me immediately as a very important step forward, supported by both the right clinical model and the right business model. Our focus is on health plans' high risk (dual eligible, Medicaid, and Medicare) members. The ability for us to remotely monitor daily biometrics and symptoms and to conduct video chats (at least weekly) focused on behavior change, education around chronic disease self-management and overcoming barriers, is a game-changer.”

After nearly 30 years in health care spanning the continuum of care from ambulatory care through inpatient acute care, rehabilitation and long-term care, along with over a decade committed to understanding and improving the patient experience of healthcare, Ms. Greenhouse brings both a skill set and a point of view that informs her work at Wellbridge.

Wellbridge Health CEO, Cynthia Zydel commented “We are thrilled to have Pam on our team as Vice President of Clinical Operations. Her passion for moving the needle is unparalleled. I am excited about the leadership and experience she adds to the team.”
