Lynnwood Real Estate Agent to Donate to Animal Shelters

Lynnwood Washington real estate agent Jacqueline Cliff has announced that she will be donating a portion of every transaction that she takes part in this year, to local animal shelters and rescue groups.

Lynnwood, WA, February 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Lost, abandoned, and abused animals in Snohomish County will have a brighter life this year thanks to local real estate agent Jacquie Cliff. As part of her commitment to give back to the community, she has pledged to donate a portion of her income from each of her real estate transactions this year to area no-kill shelters and animal rescue organizations.

"Every year through Re/Max I donate to national charities, but I feel that we all should do what we can on a local level. I am very passionate about animals, and about doing what we can to give them a chance at being in happy, loving homes. It is only natural that I return the favor to the community for the business it gives me by helping to fund local no-kill shelters and animal rescue groups.”

Each year, no-kill animal shelters such as PAWS in Lynnwood, WA rescue hundreds of animals from being euthanized and give them the time needed to be matched up with new homes. They also provide community education and low cost spay and neutering services to those that may not otherwise be able to afford it - thus helping to reduce the number of unwanted pets born in our community. In addition many small rescue organizations provide refuge for other animals such as ferrets, rabbits, and even horses.

“I really see no reason why we as a community can't convert all our shelters to no-kill facilities. It is truly tragic that healthy animals are being put down simply because we don't have room for them. Hopefully my small contribution will help inspire others to do what they can. By funding spay / neuter programs and supporting no-kill shelters, perhaps one day we can offer all pets a chance at finding a loving home.”

Jacquie encourages anyone who is participating in an animal rescue organization she may not know about to contact her at Jacquie@JacquieCliff.com or via her web page http://www.jacquiecliff.com/. She plans to release another statement at the end of the year announcing the totals for her donations, and encourages any animal lovers who are planning on buying or selling real estate to give her a call at 425-773-3149.
