Peter Keyes Sings the Music of Prince

Sacramento, CA, March 12, 2017 --(PR.com)-- On April 21, 2017 stalwart Sacramento musician Peter Keyes will perform a full concert showcasing the diverse music of Prince. Commemorating one year since the untimely passing of the artistic genius, this concert will be a full on celebration of Prince's music and triumphant life. Accompanied only by his acoustic guitar, Peter's powerful voice and expert guitar playing will fill the Theatre with the soulful strains of Prince's music. Sacramento's 24th Street Theatre will provide a most spectacular backdrop for this performance. Every seat in the house is a good seat. Tickets are $7.50 in advance, and $10 at the door. Showtime is 8pm, doors will open at 7:30. The 24th Street Theatre is located at 2791 24th Street, in Sacramento, CA.

About the performer: Peter Keyes (rhymes with eyes) has been a professional musician is Sacramento since his arival in 1985. He studied guitar with world celebrated virtuoso Joe Satriani. Keyes has performed with a diverse roster of local and regional acts, including the Dave Russell Band, the Kenny Frye Band, The West Nile Ramblers, and A Touch of Magic Mowtown Tribute. A huge Prince fan, Peter sings and plays the music in a style strikingly similar to the genius himself. "Losing Prince has been very difficult for some of us fans," says Keyes. "On the anniversary of that terrible day I want to get together with the Purple Family and sing his songs loud and proud, together.
