PR.com)-- Academy of Cinema and Television student Conner Freeland wins "Commercial Print" competition in his age division at the International Modeling and Talent Association’s Convention in Los Angeles, California, held January 7 - 13, 2008 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel.
The “Commercial Print” competition showcases photographic ability of models and actors for commercial products. Actors/Models submit three Commercial photos for judging. Commercial print represents a huge opportunity for any age actor. The commercial print industry is a logical extension of an actor or model’s repertoire. The extraordinarily high rate, usually $250 an hour can actually help fund an acting or modeling career.
Conner was also the 1st Runner Up in the “TV Real People” competition. This event showcased the ability to perform for Television Commercials. Actors/Models perform Television Commercials selected from pre-approved list provided.
This young man was “on” at this week long competition as he was named 4th Runner Up in the “Ready for my Close Up” event. This competition showcased on camera photographic ability of actors. Actors select from a list of 10 pre-approved one-liners and perform on stage in front of panel of judges with the camera cropped closely on their face.
