Cleveland, OH Dennis Rath, Offering Sellers a Cost-Effective Way to Sell a Home

Why would you as a seller pay an agent $19,500 to sell your $350,000 home, but only pay them $10,750 if your home was worth $175,000?

Avon, OH, April 16, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Experienced Cleveland Realtor, Dennis Rath, offering Sellers a cost-effective way to sell a home.

Dennis Rath, a locally-based full service realtor with over 22-years of experiencing aiding clients in the buying and selling of properties, this week announced after decades of watching the "No Sale – No Fee" approach to commissions for realtors, he has developed a better, more intelligent way to go about the sale of a home.

Borne from a passion for doing something to address the outdated business model that has come to control the real estate industry for years, Rath is offering his new key approach "The Intelligent Approach to Selling a Home" to all interested homeowners in the greater Cleveland region.

"Why would you as a seller pay an agent $19,500 to sell your $350,000 home, but only pay her $10,750 if your home was worth $175,000?" asked Rath. "What is done differently? I will tell you: absolutely nothing is done differently. So how is the sales price connected to the marketing cost? All agents will answer: it's the way things are done around here. Well, I’m on a mission to do something about that."

The No Sale – No Fee culture began over 50-years ago, long before Zillow.com and Trulia.com were in existence. Now, thanks to the popularity of these real estate platforms, as well as discount companies, the average national commission rate has decreased slightly for agents. This trend, however, has not been witnessed in Cleveland, as larger companies in the market are working to keep the average commission at a higher rate.

"The real truth is, this No Sale – No Commission policy is really bad for the seller at the end of the day. It’s not based on the amount of work completed," said Rath. "The average time spent by an agent selling a home, according to Quora.com, is 15-hours. What would it be like if real estate worked like every other sector today? Realtors would be reward accordingly, and sellers would receive better service throughout the process."
