Spectacular New Yoga Platform and Retreats in the Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, April 19, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Yoga practice can be an amazing experience with soft tropical breezes caressing the body while enjoying breathtaking ocean views and surrounded by swaying palm trees embedded in lush, tropical vegetation. All this is possible thanks to the spectacular, newly built yoga platform at the Samaná Ocean View Eco Lodge, operated by Dominican Expert. Inaugurated in December 2016, it is a unique, outstanding yoga spot in the Dominican Republic. The yoga platform offers generous space for 14 participants. The Samaná Ocean View Eco Lodge is located in Las Galeras on the Samaná peninsula, Dominican Republic.

The 7-day yoga retreats include daily sessions at the beautiful lodge as well as sessions on secluded, pristine Caribbean beaches, such as Playa Rincón and Playita Beach. Healthy, nutritious food is exclusively prepared on-site by a private chef. Hikes through the gentle hills of Samaná are offered along with individualized feedback on self-knowledge and personal growth in order to apply it to yoga practice in daily life and create the best version of each yogi.

The Samaná Ocean View Eco Lodge offers 14 cottages. Each one features a terrace or floor-to-ceiling-window with amazing views over the Samaná peninsula. The lodge invites guests to take a swim in the infinity pool or to relax in the clubhouse and soak in some Dominican sun while enjoying the views and a tropical cocktail. It is perfectly suited for group travel, families and yoga clubs. The concept of the lodge strives to offer its guests a relaxing holiday in a natural and original Caribbean environment.

The Samaná Peninsula offers endless possibilities for excursions and activities. The nearby fishing village, Las Galeras is a perfect place to mingle with the locals and have a refreshing drink. Furthermore guests can enjoy a variety of hiking trails in the area, visit the waterfall El Limón, or take a boat trip to the paradisiacal island of Cayo Levantado (also known as Bacardi Island) and much more. Lucky visitors during the months of January, February and March can see humpback whales during their mating season in the Samana Bay. The bay is directly visible from the lodge. Moreover, the Samaná peninsula is proud to have some of the most beautiful and pristine beaches of the Caribbean.
