American Law Society Recognizes Gregory Gordon Evans

The American Law Society Board of Directors is proud to announce that Gregory Gordon Evans has been accepted as a new member with ATL distinction. The America's Top Lawyers list is comprised of well-rounded individuals representing a diverse cross-section of U.S. legal advocates.

Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada, April 25, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Gregory Gordon Evans has exclusively practiced family law since 1998. His Winnipeg Manitoba-based practice, Evans Family Law Corporation, is a collaborative family law practice that offers an alternative to traditional, litigation-based separation and divorce. Greg understands the human impact of family difficulties and offers an approach that favors mutual legal agreements rather than bitter court battles. Indeed, he is a mediator and an arbitrator, receiving his training in 2005 from the Arbitration and Mediation Institute of Manitoba.

Greg earned his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manitoba in 1997. There, he was awarded the Frank Billinkoff Prize for highest standing in Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms (1996-1997). Prior to law school, Greg earned his Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics, English, and Psychology in 1986. Of note, he earned a Diploma of Sign Language Interpreting from St. Paul Technical Vocational institute in 1981 - he has served the deaf community nationally and internationally for more than three decades.

Also of note: Greg is a founding member of Collaborative Practice Manitoba and acts as its Membership Committee chair; he is a member of the Steering Committee; he was named to the Best Lawyers International list for 2015; he was awarded the Family Lawyer of the Year in 2016 in Winnipeg by Best lawyers; and he is listed as a Top Lawyer in the Global Directory of Who’s Who as a lifetime member.

American Law Society's Board of Directors selectively chooses lawyers who show a history of greatness and consistency. It is a privilege to have Mr. Evans join the organization.
