Attorney Megan E. Waugh Appointed to the Los Angeles Superior Court Probate Volunteer Panel

El Segundo, CA, May 13, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Attorney Megan E. Waugh was recently selected by the Los Angeles Superior Court to become a member of the Probate Volunteer Panel. In this capacity, Ms. Waugh will represent clients in disputed conservatorship, guardianship and related probate proceedings, serving as court-appointed counsel in a capacity commonly known as the “PVP Attorney.”

Unique to Los Angeles County, PVP Attorneys serve at the pleasure of the Court and are required to meet the rigorous qualifications set forth in Chapter 10 of the Los Angeles Superior Court rules, including minimum experience, annual training, and mandatory educational requirements. In addition to the education and experience requirements, members of the PVP panel must satisfy the highest ethical requirements by being in good standing with the California State Bar and maintain proscribed levels of professional liability insurance.
