Ms. Colice-Cadwell is “The Dancing Granny.” A former educator, chef and realtor, she currently dances in public venues. She is known for her elaborate dance moves as a way to promote peace, love, multicultural diversity and understanding targeting social and environmental issues. It is her desire to create positive change in the world.

Born on April 17, 1953 in New York, New York, Ms. Colice-Cadwell obtained a B.A. in Behavioral Studies from Drew University in 1975. She also took several classes at the Art Institute of Chicago. She has been married for more than 40 years, has three children and two grandchildren who inspire her to continue her efforts. She appeared on the Chicago White Sox big screen at a major league baseball game and the fans were able to witness “The Dancing Granny” and her dance moves in person. She also appeared on the television show EXTRA.

Ms. Colice-Cadwell is also an actress. She appeared on many television commercials for companies including Ace Hardware, Humira and Turkish Airlines. She has served as an extra on Chicago Fire and Chicago Med television shows. She is affiliated with Sustain Libertyville, which is a local organization that advocates the need for change locally and across the world. They are currently working to promote recycling and are changing chemical uses of companies that work on people’s properties. It is not surprising that “The Dancing Granny” enjoys dancing and music in her spare time.
