Geek Sources Incorporated has just been awarded the IT 70 U.S. GSA Schedule. Geek Sources obtained SIN 132-51 and Health SIN 132-56 for all Health IT Services.

Crawfordville, FL, May 23, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Geek Sources Incorporated (doing business as GeekSI and GSI), a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Economically-Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), and Socially-Disadvantaged Business (SDB) specializing in IT and health IT (HIT) for over 18 years, has just been awarded the IT 70 U.S. General Services Administration’s (GSA) Schedule, a Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract used by federal agencies specifically looking for companies who can meet their IT demands. Qualifying for the GSA Federal Acquisition Services (FAS) and Integrated Technology Services (ITS) program, also known as the FASt Lane Pilot program, GSI obtained both Special Item Number (SIN) 132-51 for Information Technology Professional Services and the new Health SIN 132-56 for all Health IT Services.

With a longstanding, successful past performance working with federal agencies, like the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), GSI has worked on several federal IT projects, including the Multiple Sclerosis Surveillance Registry (MSSR), the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS)-Ratings, the VBMS-Awards, the Eliminating Veteran Homelessness (EVH) system, the Loan Guarantee (LGY) system, the Memorial Enterprise Letters (MEL) system, and the Research Administrative Management System (RAMS).

In addition to these VA projects, GSI’s team of Health IT (HIT) experts brings a wealth of VA health registry experience that GSI hopes to utilize on the GSA’s IT Schedule 70. This includes, but is not limited to, the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) registry, the Embedded Fragments Registry (EFR), the Breast Care Registry (BCR), the Oncology (ONC) registry, the VA Eye Injury Data Store (EIDS), the Clinical Case Registry (CCR), and the Florida Trauma Registry.

GSI has extensive experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and interoperability, having worked on the State of Florida’s Health Management System (HMS) with interfaces to commercial labs, such as LabCorp, in HL7, billing in x12 EDI, CDC disease reporting, and pharmacy ordering and fulfillment, just to name a few. Whether it’s patient registration, scheduling, eligibility, community case management, laboratory, radiological exams, prescriptions, disease control, billing, or grant fund management for referral and authorizations to provider management, GSI has it covered.

GSI has experts covering the technology spectrum. Whether its big data/health analytics, business rule evaluations, interoperability, or agile application development, GSI is ready to move forward in its partnership with the GSA and deliver outstanding services and products to federal agencies.

Deniz Franck, GSI’s founder and CEO, expressed her excitement at this new prospect: “All of us at GSI are excited to leverage the IT Schedule 70 to pursue and deliver successful projects for each of our federal customers, from the business to the client!” Franck goes a step further, revealing that “this follows our strategic plan to obtain the IT70 Health SIN, as well as obtain our HUBzone certification this year.”
