Apply Checksum Validation on Codabar Barocde & Enhanced GS1DataMatrix Generation Using Aspose.BarCode for Java 17.03.0

This new release provides the capability to add checksum validation on Codabar coded barcode. An enhancement has also been made in this version to control fake/additional recognition of DutchKIX while MaxBarCodes mode is applied. New changes have been incorporated into the detection algorithm to read GS1DataMatrix barcode. GS1DataMatrix barcode generation algorithm has been updated and now generates much clearer GS1DataMatrix barcode image.

Aspose team is pleased to announce the new version of Aspose.BarCode for Java 17.03.0. This month’s release provides the capability to add checksum validation on Codabar coded barcode. An enhancement has also been made in this version to control fake/additional recognition of DutchKIX while MaxBarCodes mode is applied. Other than above mentioned new features, the API also fixes several bugs reported in the last version by the customers. Aspose.BarCode for Java allows developers to add checksum validation on Codabar barcode. The API now exposes the CodabarChecksumMode enumeration to specify the checksum mode. BarCodeBuilder class has a property setEnableChecksum that needs to be set to TRUE before setting the checksum mode. New changes have been incorporated into the detection algorithm to read GS1DataMatrix barcode and Improved the functionality to not detect fake/additional DutchKIX coded barcode. GS1DataMatrix barcode generation algorithm has been updated generate much more clear tt>GS1DataMatrix barcode image. Below is the list of main improved features and bug fixes added in this release:

• Add checksum feature for Codabar
• Barcode is not giving correct output
• BarCode is not giving correct output when GS1DataMatrix barcode is supplied to read
• Unable to recognize barcode of type Code39Standard from a TIFF image
• Fake recognition of DutchKIX in MaxBarCodes mode
• Generation GS1DataMatrix isn't correct
