The “Submerge Weekend” continues at InConJunction, where Submerge: Echo 51 star Shonna Bedford will be the media guest of honor and Bishop Stevens (Embeds, The Walking Dead, Empire and more) will be a featured guest. Submerge: Echo 51 tells the story of Lyte, the lone survivor of a brutal attack by alien forces on the planet Echo, where she has been left for dead and stranded for a hundred years. Filled with science fiction action and thrills, Submerge: Echo 51 features a larger budget over the previous films in the series, with enhanced production values, visual elements and special effects. “Submerge: Echo 51 serves as a soft reboot of the series, making it a great place for new viewers to jump in,” said Witherspoon.

Submerge: Echo 51 stars singer/producer/actress Shonna Bedford as Lyte in her first lead role, model/actor Brad Clark as 51, Grace Carlton in her first major role as Liz, and features Bishop Stevens (Embeds, The Walking Dead, Empire) as Raz. The Submerge series of short films was conceived by, scripted, produced and directed by Demetrius Witherspoon. He has filmed the entire series at various locations throughout Indianapolis and Carmel, Indiana. The Submerge series has a rapidly growing base of support, thanks in part to an extensive social media push by fans. Submerge: Echo 51 will be supported by an array of merchandise, including a card game, canvas tennis shoes and a novella adaptation. The next installment will be the first feature-length film in the series.

The first three installments are packaged together on a DVD titled Submerge: Ni’re Reborn. The disc includes several bonus features and behind-the-scenes footage. You can order the disc at http://www.dventertainmentpictures.com/ or purchase a copy at InConJunction.
