Aceable’s New Technology Feature is Patent Pending

Austin startup’s unique technology aims to improve learning experience.

Austin, TX, May 20, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Aceable, creator of the first state-approved native mobile driver education and defensive driving courses, today announced the filing of a patent surrounding the new technology they will be using in future versions of their courses. The new feature will modify the content in real time and guide students through course levels at the correct pace for their individual learning style. The artificial intelligence engine ensures they have a positive experience while still meeting their respective state’s requirements surrounding educational content and course time.

“We know that everyone learns at their own speed,” said Erin Defosse, Chief Product Officer at Aceable, “so our goal has always been to design our technology in a way that makes sure no student is left feeling lost or bored. We’re excited about the opportunity to improve the educational experience so all of our students have an equal chance to succeed.”

Departments of motor vehicles around the country and students alike have expressed concerns around the problem of timing and course length in many online state-regulated courses. Aceable decided to tackle the problem head-on by finding an innovative solution to adjust the pace of the course based on each student’s individual learning style. Once this new technology is implemented, the course will periodically adjust the timing of the content based on the student’s pace throughout previous chapters. This allows them the ability to complete their course in the fastest amount of time while still covering all of the necessary content to meet state requirements. This feature is expected to improve both the learning experience and the effectiveness of courses for all students.

“This feature offers the same benefit as having a tutor who can watch you work through content and make sure you’re focusing on areas where you need more help,” said Blake Garrett, founder and CEO of Aceable. Users will begin experiencing this new technology over the course of the next few months as Aceable rolls out new courses and updated versions of its apps.

Aceable drivers ed is currently approved in Texas, California, Illinois, Florida, Ohio and Nevada and defensive driving courses are available in California and Texas. Downloads are available in both the App Store and Google Play Store, or online at Aceable.com.
