La Residence Hue's Executive Chef Introduces Exquisite Majestic Menu

A feast for royalty by Chef Nguyen Dong Hai of the most reputed hotel in Hue City.

Hue City, Vietnam, May 24, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Inspired by a visit to the Imperial City of Hue by the Emperor and Empress of Japan in March, La Residence Hue's Executive Chef Nguyen Dong Hai outdid the Majestic Menu to treat his noble guests. The culinary masterpiece in which diners can easily spot a harmonious blend of Vietnamese and European specialities is now on offer at the hotel's restaurant.

Born and raised in Hue, Chef Hai -- with a great passion for food -- loves delighting his guests with flavors that present the spirit and soul of his hometown. The city is widely known as the gastronomic capital of Vietnam. Among over 3000 national dishes, 2000 of those were created originally in the Imperial City of Hue by the Nguyen Dynasty Chefs to the Kings, which contributed greatly to the diversity of Hue cuisine. His expertise also expands on Western cuisines.

Served at the art-deco Le Parfum Restaurant nestled on the banks of the fabled Perfume River, the 5-course Majestic Menu will take diners on a truly adventurous journey back in time. A recommended list of world-class wines is added to enhance the palate and appetite for a memorable experience.

The menu is priced at VND 1,800,000 net (approximately equal to USD 80); optional choice of wine starts at VND 600.000 net (about USD 27). For reservations or further inquiries, email resa@la-residence-hue.com.

About La Residence Hue Hotel & Spa

Set on a two-hectare site with 200 meters of frontage on the fabled Perfume River, La Residence celebrated its grand opening in December 2005 after a painstaking restoration of the 1930-built mansion. The hotel's distinctive bowed façade, its long horizontal lines and nautical flourishes are hallmarks of the streamline moderne school of art-deco architecture.

The hotel's 122 rooms and suites, restaurants, lounges, bars and conference room are tricked out in complementary art-deco furnishings and décor that evoke both the 1920s and 1950s. The hotel's fine-dining venue, Le Parfum, serves Mediterranean and French cuisine, as well as dishes from an expansive Vietnamese menu.
