Establishing Effective Insider Threat Programs to Protect Organizational Security

DSI’s 2017 Insider Threat Symposium will be held on October 10-11, 2017. Attendees will convene to discuss the efforts to develop insider threat programs across government agencies and private sector industry in order to provide them with the information and tools they need to identify, contain, and combat insider threats.

Alexandria, VA, August 05, 2017 --(PR.com)-- On October 10-11, 2017, senior leaders within the IC, DoD, Federal Agencies, Private Industry, and Academia will convene in Alexandria, VA, for two days of off the record briefings and informal discussions at Defense Strategies Institute’s Insider Threat Symposium. The dialogue will focus on the efforts to develop insider threat programs across government agencies and private sector industry in order to provide them with the information and tools they need to identify, contain, and combat insider threats.

“The Insider Threat Symposium will include senior level discussions covering a wide range of topics of importance to those combating insider threats,” said Jacob Caplan, Program Manager at DSI. “We will be discussing the latest initiatives to stand up insider threat programs across government and the private sector, the work being done by these programs, and the lessons the community has learned about countering insider threats.”

DSI’s upcoming symposium recognizes that the developing and integrating effective insider threat programs to protect organizational security is important for government agencies to be able to effectively prevent and mitigate insider threat attacks.
