Cats in the Hall, All Media Cat Art Exhibit
Eureka, CA, August 25, 2017 --(PR.com)-- From revered ancient deities to today’s pampered pets, cats are a constant and compelling force in our lives. To honor this truly special animal, the Hall Gallery and curators Rachel K Schlueter and Georgia Long present Cats in the Hall, an art exhibit focused solely on the glory that is Cat. There will also be an altar, Homage to Cat, where visitors can leave remembrances and offerings. The show will open for Arts Alive! September 2nd, with a special Adoption Day event where future cat servants can meet adoptable animals in the dedicated Cat Salon. The adoption event will be hosted by Companion Animal Foundation, Humboldt Spay/Neuter Network, Sequoia Humane Society and Humboldt Animal Rescue Team. Representatives of these organizations will be on hand to answer questions, and donations to support these devoted cat angels in our community are welcome. Recalling the response and attendance of recent cat art shows held at Mercer-Fraser in Old Town and at the Redwood Art Association, organizers say, "Cat art inspires many levels of community engagement." Come celebrate the mysterious and majestic feline in all its glory. "Black Cat" Image by Joyce Jonte. Contact: Rachel K Schlueter 445-1751
