Oklahoma City, OK, August 26, 2017 --(PR.com)-- International speaker and best-selling author, Cheryl Ginnings is recognized for her expertise in the field of communication, business consulting, and public speaking. As the founder and CEO of Cheryl Ginnings Consulting, a consulting and public speaking company, she utilizes her years of experience to shed light on the trials of families with special needs children.

Cheryl holds a Bachelors of Arts degree Magna Cum Laude from the Sam Houston State University in Speech Communication and Rhetoric. Her skill set ranges from business consulting, real estate consulting, writing, public speaking, and relationship marketing. She is a Certified Life Enhancement Coach and a Certified PTSD symptom coach.

By incorporating years of communication experience, she curated a book for special need families undergoing similar predicaments. “I understand the problems these families face,” says Cheryl. They have no voice unless we speak up for them.” I want to be that voice, and it’s my responsibility to help others find their voice as well.”

Her recent publication, “#Love: A New Generation of Hope” compiled by Anita Sechesky follows the journey of finding peace and understanding the purpose her son, Blake who has cerebral palsy serves in her life. She was contributing author in, The Change book 5, “Love: A New Generation of Hope Continues,” and “The Success Chronicles” (2016). A new book will be released 2017, “Behind Her Brand,” vo. 6 that Cheryl will also be part of.

Prior to becoming a best-selling author, Cheryl served as a realtor for Re/Max Professionals and Exit Realty. While at Exit Realty, she received awards ranging from the Best Regional Realtor, Most Production, Most Listing, and Most Sales.

Amid her multiple roles, Cheryl ensures her free time is spent in the community. She volunteers with the United Cerebral Palsy and the YMCA- Lawton. Cheryl’s commitment to being a voice for the unrepresented goes further than her published books. She has various mediums such as a website, HopeHumorHumility.com, where one can find encouragement on how to overcome obstacles. In addition, she hosts a radio program on BBM Global Network, “Courage to Overcome” that serves as an informational avenue for all aspects of disabilities and the toll families must bear.

Moreover, the busy mom, wife, and business woman chooses to not allow feelings of discouragement and loneliness ultimately cloud her purpose. “Your attitude is the key to how you live your life,” says Cheryl. “We knew why Blake had cerebral palsy, but it didn’t answer what we were going to do about it. You have to fight for your children and leave that negative attitude behind you.”

Cheryl attributes her success and ability to cope to her faith in God and choosing to never give up on Him and her family.

In her free time, Cheryl enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Looking ahead, she hopes to continue encouraging people to overcome obstacles and provide a platform for the families of special needs children. She posts most things on her Facebook: Cheryl.ginnings and websites: www.couragetoovercome.club and www.courage2overcome.com.

Cheryl’s new book is just coming out on Amazon and Barnes & Nobel: "It Takes Courage To Be A Caregiver." She plans to have a series of books about issues that take courage. You may write to her at cginnings@icloud.com.
