Each client is able to choose from the following materials: Canadian diamonds, conflict-free diamonds, eco-gold and silver, pearls from Japan, Tahiti, the South Seas, China, the Philippines, Australia, and the Sea of Cortez. Trios Studio specifically offers the option for the client to choose Fair Trade Gems, which a program that promotes ethical practices for laborers in developing countries. “We have directly given thousands of dollars to the school and community projects, including the first freshwater well in the area, teacher housing and a medical waste facility," says co-owner Deborah Spencer.
