East Coast Datacom, Inc. Announces EDS-10G Network Latency Emulator Upgrade Options

Rockledge, FL, August 27, 2017 --(PR.com)-- East Coast Datacom, Inc., a leader in the design and manufacture of communication products, announces hardware and software upgrades to the EDS-10G Network latency Emulator. The EDS-10G hardware now supports dual redundant power supplies for critical operations. The new 2U chassis offers hot swap power supplies and IPMI monitoring of the entire hardware system via SNMP.

New EDS-10G software allows the support of up to 8-Ports of 10G traffic, running four separate delay emulations simultaneously. This greatly reduces the costing for multiple 10G emulation testing or adding 10G latency to critical links such as financial trading data to even delay times for all users.

The EDS-10G also has added automated software logic to allow users who upgrade or add 10G NIC Cards an automated means of upgrading the 10G NIC card to the proper revision for optimal Line Rate performance.

The EDS-10G now ships standard with a web GUI interface, Command Line Interface and the new Script Interface for automated testing environments supporting network impairment testing. The EDS-10G has a 3-year warranty covering software upgrades, factory support and all hardware.
