Joan Soltis is Named Professional of the Year by the International Association of Who’s Who

The International Assoc. of Who’s Who recognizes Joan Soltis of Salina, Kansas for exemplary achievements in the field of Occupational Therapy.

Salina, KS, August 31, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Joan Soltis is an occupational therapy professional with nearly 30 years of experience in the field. As a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the Kansas Occupational Therapy Association, and the Student Occupational Therapy Association, she is able to provide crucial insight as a leader of the Brown Mackie College occupational therapy program. There, she oversees key decisions regarding the program’s design and development, ensuring that it helps set students up for successful futures in occupational therapy.

The Brown Mackie College has twenty-five locations across the nation, offering degrees in six specific areas of study that include legal studies, construction trades, early childhood education, veterinary technology, business and technology, and health and wellness. Prior to her work at Brown Mackie, Ms. Soltis served as a Regional Director at the Phoenix Service Corporation (PSC) for over 7 years. The PSC is a non-profit organization that focuses on helping individuals with disabilities experience more independence in their day-to-day lives. Currently Joan is now the Director of Rehab for Dynamic Rehab which involves overseeing 2 different buildings.

Ms. Soltis speaks English and Hebrew, and holds a Master of Business Administration from Walden University as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Occupational Therapy from St. Catherine's University. She has also been recognized as a VIP Woman of The Year by the National Association of Professional Women.

When she’s not at work, Ms. Soltis continues to commit herself to those in need, doing charity work for the MS society and various cancer organizations.
