Applegreen Research™ reveals findings of their public poll and appeals for public support for Art Therapy awareness.
Orlando, FL, September 04, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Applegreen Research™ conducted a poll on Amazon about the public perception and awareness of Art Therapy. The poll was specifically worded to refer to various applications of Art Therapy in the areas of addiction therapy, autism and ADHD treatment, depression, healing and enhancement of general mental acuity. It also gave a choice that did not recognize any role or benefit of Art Therapy. The poll had over 2000 participants.
The PR Representative for Applegreen Research™, Ashley Dean announced the results of the poll: “Applegreen Research’s Amazon poll results reveal some very encouraging findings regarding positive public perception about Art Therapy. Only 2% of the participants believed Art Therapy to have no beneficial role, 98% of the participants were aware of a beneficial role for Art Therapy. The highest benefit was deemed to be depression and healing (37%), followed by a tie between Autism & ADHD (22%) and general mental acuity (22%). It seems only 16% were aware of the beneficial role of Art Therapy in addiction therapy. The results are encouraging but we still have a long way to go and we will continue to spread public awareness about the therapeutic effects of fine arts both on our website as well as our Face book page- We ask the public to please continue to support us and help us spread this message.
