American Law Society Nominations to Open on September 18th, 2017 for 2018 - 2019 Moral Fiber & Future Rising Stars Distinctions
New York, NY, September 14, 2017 --(PR.com)-- The American Law Society is pleased to announce the opening of its 2018 - 2019 nomination process for “Moral Fiber” and “Future Rising Stars” distinctions available to qualifying lawyers in the continental 50 United States. These distinctions build upon the American Law Society’s current acclaimed “America’s Top Lawyers” distinction. The American Law Society’s new distinctions set a precedent for outstanding legal practice and leadership in the areas of moral fortitude and young, forward-thinking attorneys.

According to the American Law Society, its “Moral Fiber” distinction “is given to attorneys who go beyond traditional standards of practice, particularly in the areas of client assistance and ethics.” In 2016, the American Law Society recognized attorney, Edward R. Palermo of Garden City, NY with its first ever “Moral Fiber” distinction. This was the result of an unsolicited nomination from one of Palermo’s former clients who felt that his service had gone far above and beyond traditional legal service, and was seeking a forum to acknowledge his dedication to his practice, ethics, and above all else, his clients.

In addition to the “Moral Fiber” distinction, the American Law Society is also announcing its “Future Rising Stars” distinction, which will recognize outstanding young attorneys who demonstrate exceptional professionalism, potential, commitment to practice, as well as an embrace of the future potential of the legal profession.

On September 18th, 2017, the American Law Society will start accepting nominations for both its “Moral Fiber ” and “Future Rising Stars” distinctions on their website. Nominations for both may come from verified clients, peers, and colleagues of a given attorney. Nominations may also come from the American Law Society’s research team. Both distinctions will honor up to twenty attorneys per state each year.
