Kate Beckinsale, Val Kilmer, Jewel Staite, Ernie Hudson Among Top Celebrities Scheduled to Attend Wizard World Comic Con Oklahoma City, October 27-29

Jason Mewes, Brian O’Halloran, Ray Park, James Marsters, Charisma Carpenter Also Headline Guest Roster To Date; Talented Comics Creators, Live Entertainment, Variety of Exhibitors, Cosplayers, Robust Programming At Cox Convention Center

Oklahoma City, OK, September 20, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) continues its 2017 schedule with its first trip to the Cox Convention Center at Wizard World Comic Con Oklahoma City, October 27-29. Kate Beckinsale (Underworld, Van Helsing), Val Kilmer (Batman Forever, Top Gun), Jewel Staite (“Firefly,” “Stargate: Atlantis”), Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters, The Crow), the Clerks and Mallrats duo of Jason Mewes and Brian O’Halloran, Ray Park (Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace, X-Men) and the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” foursome of James Marsters, Charisma Carpenter, Nicholas Brendon and Emma Caulfield headline the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to date to attend the comic con and pop culture extravaganza.

Beckinsale, Staite, Carpenter and Park are scheduled to appear on Saturday and Sunday, October 28-29; the others above will be on hand all three days.

Other notables scheduled to appear include Steve Cardenas (“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”), Sam Jones (“Flash Gordon,” Ted), the “Batman: The Animated Series” duo of Kevin Conroy and Loren Lester, Thomas Ian Nicholas (Rookie of the Year, American Pie) and Lou Ferrigno (“The Incredible Hulk,” “The King of Queens”). Additional celebrity guests will be announced closer to the event date.

While this marks the inaugural Wizard World event in Oklahoma City, Wizard World held three successful events in nearby Tulsa from 2014-2016.

Wizard World Comic Con Oklahoma City will also feature non-stop live entertainment, gaming, exclusive Q&A sessions with top celebrities, movie screenings hosted by stars and directors and more, hosted by media personality Kato Kaelin. Details to follow soon.

The 15th event scheduled on the 2017 Wizard World calendar, Oklahoma City show hours are Friday, October 27, 4-9 p.m.; Saturday, October 28, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, October 29, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Kids 10 and under are admitted free with paid adult.

Wizard World Comic Con Oklahoma City is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World Costume Contest on Saturday evening.
