New Apple Summer Indie and Self-Published E-Book Award Winners Announced

Winners have been announced in the 2017 New Apple Summer E-Book Awards for Excellence in Independent Publishing.

Dayton, OH, September 28, 2017 --(PR.com)-- The complete list of self-published and indie book winners have been announced in the 2017 New Apple Summer E-Book Awards for Excellence in Independent Publishing.

About the New Apple Summer E-Book Awards
The New Apple Summer E-Book Awards for Excellence in Independent Publishing was established to honor the creative achievements of the unsung books fighting for their place within the digital publishing world. Any English language e-book published within the last three years, currently available for sale by an independent author or small press that met the Awards' guidelines was eligible for entry. One book was chosen in each category as the solo Medalist Winner receiving the highest honors. In addition, the judges were permitted to choose up to three Official Selections for category distinction.

Winner Announcements
Solo Medalists and up to three Official Selections were chosen in each of twenty-eight categories. Categories included Action / Adventure, Biography / Memoir, Fantasy, Children's, Cross Genre, Mystery, Horror, Science Fiction as well as four Young Adult specific categories. Eligibility and Rules
E-Books were required to be English language and have publication dates between January 1, 2015 and June 30, 2017. E-Books must have been available for sale (E-Books currently available for $0.00 are also eligible) and intended for readers in the North American market. E-Books must have either been self-published or associated with a small press at the time of entry. The New Apple Book Awards selection committee reserved the right to determine the eligibility of all entries. E-Books with additional available formats (such as print or audiobook) were eligible for entry but the digital format copy was the only edition considered for judging. New Apple employees and members of the New Apple independent panel of judges were not eligible for entry.
