Mad Samurai Productions is Pleased to Announce the US Premiere of It's Feature Film "Juggernaut" is to Take Place at the San Diego International Film Festival on Oct. 8th

Vancouver, Canada, September 28, 2017 --(PR.com)-- “Juggernaut,” the much-anticipated feature debut of writer/director Daniel DiMarco will land at two US international festivals in October, with its US Premiere at the San Diego International Film Festival in competition, followed two weeks later with screenings at the Carmel International Film Festival.

There will be a strong presence in San Diego with DiMarco attending, alongside producer Matthew Cervi, lead actor Jack Kesy, Executive Producers Ben Charles Silverman and Rich Mento and Co-Producer Ines Eisses.

“Juggernaut” stars Jack Kesy (Upcoming Deadpool 2, Baywatch, Horse Soldiers, Death Wish), Amanda Crew (Silicon Valley, Poor Boy, Race), David Cubitt (Medium, Van Helsing), Ty Olsson (War for the Planet of the Apes, The 100), Stephen McHattie (300, Immortals, A History of Violence) and Peter McRobbie (The Visit, Lincoln, Bridge of Spies).

After discovering the news that his Mother has taken her own life, Saxon Gamble (Kesy) returns home, irrationally plagued by the notion that her death was not a suicide, and that his older brother Dean (Cubitt) was involved. Saxon, a man of violence and ill repute, embarks on a revenge mission that shakes up the quiet town of his birth. Juggernaut is a story of revenge, obsession and sibling rivalry. An exploration into the dark places of family dysfunction.

Written and Directed by DiMarco, Juggernaut was produced by Matthew Cervi (The Colony, Cruel & Unusual) through his production company Mad Samurai Productions, with Ines Eisses co-producing. Ben Silverman (Goon), Dave Valleau (Push, Lavender), Rich Mento and Jason Upton served as Executive Producers.

The film was developed through the Harold Greenberg Fund, Telefilm Canada, and Creative BC, with production financing support from Telefilm Canada and the Harold Greenberg Fund.
