Brewster Rawls Quoted in USA Today Article, VA Conceals Mistakes at VAMC in Maine

Richmond, VA, October 15, 2017 --(PR.com)-- A disturbing article was released by USA Today and it shed light on the grim discoveries that have been reported at one of the nations oldest VA Medical Centers. At the center of this article is a seasoned podiatrist, Thomas Franchini, who USA Today calls “dangerous.” There are 88 cases where mistakes were made at the Togus VAMC in Maine by Franchini. What is more disturbing is that the VA concealed the mistakes, failed to report the mistakes to a national database, and allowed Franchini to quietly resign. Brewster Rawls, an attorney for veterans from Rawls Law Group was quoted in the USA Today Article. “How is the claimant supposed to know when (the VA) was sitting on this?” Rawls asked. “What they did was just wrong.”
