Hollywood, CA, March 17, 2008 --(
PR.com)-- The Academy of Cinema and Television (ACT) strives to keep students in front of casting directors and talent agents as often as possible. This type of exposure is part of the overall education the talented students receive, but it also gives each child an opportunity to be selected for the much sought-after call back or selection for a role in a television or film project.
According to Erin Cameron, National Satellite School Director for ACT, "LaFond was very impressed with everyone’s efforts (student efforts) and had special interest in a number of students.”
Any of the 20 students on the list LaFond returned to ACT stood out from the 100+ kids auditioned. Cameron says, being on the list “means Larry was extremely pleased with [the student’s] audition and is holding onto [their] materials to be considered for upcoming projects in the next year. Typically with casting directors, they will not specifically contact [a student] unless they have a project and role to cast unique to [their] age and type.”
All the academy instructors are very pleased with their students and can't sing their praises enough.
