Athletic Nation of the Triangle

Cary, NC, March 22, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Athletic Nation of the Triangle completed its first public seminar on a healthy lifestyle and healthy workplace. Clay Garland, General Manager, and Kurt Ehlert, M.D., owner and area developer, presented a unique seminar on the health problems associated with our current lifestyles and its effect on workplace productivity. This is the first in a series of public education seminars to be produced by Athletic Nation of the Triangle.

This first seminar presented information on multiple topics. Included were healthy and not-so-healthy fast food choices, sleepiness at work, the effect of exercise on health, and the cost impact of obesity in the workplace. Mr. Garland, a certified Athletic Nation personal trainer, then discussed proper weightlifting techniques and common mistakes. A question and answer period followed with an excellent discussion of the interplay of the psychological and physical in fitness. The seminar took place at the Integrative Chiropractic offices of Dr. Steve Palazzo. Dr. Palazzo added to the conversation and provided his unique insight into the current fitness landscape.

This seminar was directed at all members of the public who are interested in improving their fitness or the health of others, particularly in the workplace. The leaders of Athletic Nation of the Triangle believe that by continuing to inform the public about health, the Triangle will become an even better place to live and work.
