Vision Media Television Launches a New Segment on Environmental Corrosion for NER
Boca Raton, FL, March 26, 2008 --(
PR.com)-- Vision Media Television has completed a new documentary segment for nation-wide distribution on “Environmental Corrosion.” Corrosion is often defined as the deterioration of metal by chemical or electrochemical action resulting from exposure to weather, moisture, chemicals or other agents. It is also further defined as a form of oxidation. However, continued corrosion of the environment (of all sorts) is an important environmental concern in current trends. Linda Shields, one of the key producers for the documentary segment, stated, “Working with companies that protect people, assets, and environment from the effects of corrosion is important not only for this generation, but for generations to come.” Mr. Christian Kelch, senior producer for the series, said, “In dealing with an important ecological topic such as environmental corrosion, we want to demonstrate a broad range of how corrosion is affecting the planet as a whole in various industries, as well as down to the community level where people live day by day.”
In exploring the affects of corrosion, the National Environmental Report will cover all areas of ecological concern, from the structural integrity of aircraft, to the deterioration of various surfaces, to measuring effects of corrosion on land masses, even biological effects of corrosion products from metals.
