Springfield, IL, March 20, 2006 --(PR.com)-- An Amber Alert has been issued out of North Port, near Port Charlotte, for a nine-year-old boy.

The child's name is William Hunter. He's described as five feet tall and 80 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Authorities believe the child was likely abducted by 48-year-old Walter Hunter.
Walter Hunter is described as six feet two inches and 200 pounds. He's a white male with grey hair and blue eyes.

Officials believe they may be traveling in a white Chevy Geo with tag number B-3-3-2-S-R.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the child is asked to call North Port Police at 941-426-3111.
