PR.com)-- Hong Kong Forex (H.K.) Co. Ltd said today it has selected Ken Ngo to succeed Bernadette Chan as senior vice president, human resources. Upon Chan's retirement on November the 1st, Chan will join Interactive Brokers as a senior vice president.
"Ken Ngo has demonstrated exceptional abilities to lead the highly complex human-resources function for larger companies," said Michael Tan, vice president, international sales and marketing. "He has had financial accountability for global benefit programs, has guided the development of HR programs that were named 'best in class' and has achieved recognition for creating a 'great place to work' in five countries." He will become a member of the company's Management Committee and will report to the CEO.
Chan, 53, formed her own consulting firm in 1989 after serving for 10 years as senior vice president, human resources, at previous public companies. Earlier, she had worked as an regional management consultant for Xerox Corporation and in computing research at Eastman Kodak Company.
Chan became senior vice president, human resources, in Feburary 2003. She previously had served as vice president, human resources, since January 1999. He joined HKForex in December 1996 and held various human-resources management positions.
