According to the communication received, the company retains an interest in learning more about 4 of the 20 product ideas that made up their latest Innovation Direct™ package of ITT Licensing™ inventor concepts.

The company, which has been a part of the Innovation Direct™ program since early 2007 and has reviewed over 90 ITT Licensing™ inventor product ideas during that span, had requested that ITT send them pet inventions in addition to the customary kitchen items that they specialize in. According to their official website, the company has been in the kitchenware business for 35 years and enjoys distribution of their products in multiple continents. They have recently informed ITT Licensing™ that they are interested in expanding their product lines to include a variety of innovative pet products.

Accordingly, the ITT Licensing™ representative that manages the company's Innovation Direct™ account had sent the company an evenly split group of 10 kitchen and pet products apiece to comply with this request. However, the 4 inventions selected for further review were exclusively in the kitchen category.

A non-disclosure agreement has already been signed representatives from both ITT Licensing™ and the manufacturer, and detailed design information has therefore been sent on the 4 concepts. The company contact has informed ITT Licensing™ that they will be discussing the inventions in an internal pre-screening meeting on May 15th.

If the manufacturer retains further interest in any of these items subsequent to the aforementioned meeting, ITT Licensing™ will be available to handle all negotiations toward a licensing agreement for those products.
