Natrona Heights, PA, May 18, 2008 --(
PR.com)-- Debbie Beale, President of the Highlands School Board, accepted a donation of a complete AED (automated defibrillator) package at Tuesday night's meeting. Included in the package was a complete AED, carrying case and wall cabinet with alarm, enabling the board to suggest mounting this unit anywhere in the building.
This donation was made possible by a partnership between Natrona Heights Presbyterian Youth Group and NewHouse Medical.
Jason Heffran, President of NewHouse Medical said, "I graduated from Highlands. As a Deacon and Youth Leader at Natrona Heights Presbyterian Church, it seemed like a great idea when Cam (Rev. R. Cameron Malcom) approached me with the concept. Hopefully, they'll never have to use it."
