CaoSys and ERP Seminars Introduce Enterprise Pack for SOD Solution

England, United Kingdom, June 25, 2008 --(PR.com)-- CaoSys, a developer of Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) and productivity software specifically for Oracle E-Business Suite and ERP Seminars, a leading firm in the definition of Internal Controls and Security Best Practices introduced their second Enterprise Pack this week for its segregation of duties solution, CS*Comply.

The CS*Comply Enterprise Pack (CS*Comply*EP) has been designed to help businesses deal with their segregation of duties issues. The solution contains the most comprehensive conflict matrix in the industry consisting of more than 21,000 segregation of duties conflicts and conflict pairs.

Customers faced with segregation of duties issues are faced with a mammoth task of dealing with the problem; this is especially the case when there are many hundreds or even thousands of application users. Determining which parts of the system can be accessed and which can’t, is a daunting undertaking and it is inevitable that any given solution will have gaps. This is where CS*Comply*EP enters the picture.

Craig O’Neill, founder of CaoSys said “We have been working closely with ERP Seminars for several months on refining our software and content to ensure that our SOD solution is the best on the market. Our combined offering delivers a SOD solution that is unequalled in the marketplace, the sheer number of available internal controls coupled with our embedded software provides more protection out of the box than any other offering.”

CS*Comply*EP offers businesses best of breed SOD software that is now backed up with an SOD conflict matrix which contains more than 20,000 known and documented conflicting function pairs. The matrix protects systems with much greater coverage than any other similar offering.

The pack goes well beyond traditional SOD in that it also provides rules to protect more than 500 single functions that contain sensitive information or critical system set-up data. These are considered high risk regardless of whether or not they conflict with another part of the system.

Jeffrey Hare, president of ERP Seminars said “CaoSys has shown industry leadership by embedding the most comprehensive conflict matrix in the industry. The CS*Comply solution is a solid solution and a great value for companies looking for an SOD solution with preventive controls.”

Alongside the release of the Enterprise Pack, CaoSys has released a new version of CS*Comply that contains a number of enhancements, the most notable of which is the new SOD Conflict Scanning Engine (CSE). The new CSE can scan an entire system consisting of hundreds or thousands of users across many hundreds of thousands or even millions of access combinations in just a matter of minutes.

O’Neill continued “By combining our best of breed software with content from ERP Seminars, we can offer businesses the fastest, most comprehensive and most cost effective SOD solution for Oracle E-Business Suite in the industry.”

CS*Comply forms part of the CaoSys compliance toolkit which itself is installed as part of the companies complete suite which is called CS*Applications. All Enterprise Packs, also known as E*Packs are delivered and installed onto a customers system using standard XML and are fully configurable and extensible.

ERP Seminars also offers its ERPS Risk Assessment Methodology (ERAM), a fundamentally new and holistic approach to dealing with regulatory and governance issues, particularly those concerned with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), security, identity theft and fraud.
