PR.com)-- Unique Images Photography is proud to announce their two third-place awards at the DWF Photographer of the Year contest. The two images they submitted placed in both of the two categories they entered: People and Couples.
The competition was fierce, with the best wedding and portrait photographers from all over the world competing to win. In the end, the judges chose ten images from each of the three categories for the final judging. Mark, from Unique Images Photography said at the time, "I didn't really think too much about the contest until I saw our images in the top ten after the first round of judging. Then I couldn't stop thinking about it!"
The contest winners were announced in Tampa during the DWF convention, which was held a short distance from the PPA convention and the Imaging USA exhibition.
Along with international recognition for their images, Mark and Sherri from Unique Images Photography took away prizes from industry sponsors Seldex and Finao and also had their images displayed as large prints at both the DWF convention and the Imaging USA exhibition.
Mark said at the time, "It's an odd feeling walking around with your images displayed everywhere. In a way we felt famous, but our images were recognized far more than we were ourselves".
Both images now hang in their studio and are displayed on their website.
