EvidencePix Awarded US Patent on Portable, Wireless, Instant Photo Taking and Emailing Security Technology for Automobiles, Homes, Businesses and Mobile or Remote Assets

PR.com)-- EvidencePix announces it has been issued Patent 7,161,479 for a security technology titled: “Portable Instantaneous Wireless Event Based Photo Identification and Alerting Security System”. This technology is designed around the awareness that physical assets are both highly portable and increasingly valuable, and that there is a growing need to protect these assets while they are mobile. In addition, this technology is event based in its design, thereby eliminating the need for continuous data capture, and favouring superb data capture only when needed.
This patented technology combines certain technological features in cellular phones, digital cameras, compression and encryption software, and wireless communication for safeguarding assets when mobile or in remote areas. “This patent works by first taking a series of digital photos of the targeted area, compressing and encrypting these photos, then emailing them to email addresses remote from the targeted area”, said Raymond Sobol, inventor of this technology. “Within seconds of an intrusion, pictures of the perpetrator are emailed, secure and far away, and can be used as visual evidence to identify him/her. For example: Within seconds of someone breaking into your car, you can receive a photo of that person, emailed to you on your cell phone device. At the same time, those photos can be emailed to a remote date center for further use as evidence and re-emailed to others, such as security guards, police or insurers – all within seconds. We believe that a thief or intruder will be highly intimidated by having his/her picture taken, getting caught in the act and identified, and that this line of defence will deflect the perpetrator to other places. ”
EvidencePix believes this technology can be widely used either independently or in conjunction with existing systems for theft prevention of motor vehicles and their contents, for homes and businesses (or specific areas within), for temporary unsecure locations such as construction sites, for anti-terrorism and military applications and as a small mobile device suitable for boats, RV’s or hotel rooms.
