JBISoft Inc. was formed as a small business in the year 2000. It employs a team of professionals who have worked together for 15 years at large companies supporting government network centric solutions, intelligence data fusion, security, defense management, database and advanced technology needs. JBISoft has built a framework of tools and applications that can be combined and customized to meet specific user requirements. We have in depth experience with data visualization and have many tools that can be integrated with each other to facilitate rapid prototype development. Over the past several years, JBISoft Inc. has developed a distributed intelligent agent based event reasoning and correlation engine called jbiFusion. jbiFusion is a Java-based framework of smart agents that can be customized to support a wide range of data retrieval and processing applications. Agents can fulfill a variety of needs ranging from data modelers/managers to information exchange brokers between Communities of Interest (COIs). In addition, a front-end GUI is provided to view the resulting data and knowledge bases in a variety of geospatial-, statistical- and ontological-aware displays. Currently our jbiFusion (java based Intelligent Fusion) engine is being used on a Joint ACTD called Event Management Framework (EMF). The jbiFusion solution on EMF provides automated search, data reduction, and data correlation capabilities that allow the Watch Officer to be more effective in their daily Command Center activities. Some of the challenges of EMF which jbiFusion helps solve are; Information Overload, Information Discovery, Systematic Problems, Information Sharing and Collaboration, Accurate and Timely Situational Awareness (SA) and Cultural tendency not to share information.
